The Colne Valley Trust, set up in 1990, is an independent rural agency, which promotes, facilitates and supports the economic, social, environmental and cultural regeneration of the Colne Valley from its base in Slaithwaite , near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Membership is open to anybody living or working in the Valley who has an interest in seeing practical improvements take place for the benefit of all. Most of its work is focused on the communities of Marsden, Slaithwaite, Linthwaite and Golcar.
